Not too long ago, I was sent four packages of MealEnders to try – one of each flavor: Chocolate Mint, Cinnamon, Citrus and Mocha.

Here is a little background on MealEnders:
MealEnders naturally transition you away from the desire to
overindulge by keeping your mouth and mind occupied for up to 20
minutes (theOvereating Zone) and giving your body’s natural satiety proc
ess time tocatch up. With regular use, they can help train you to eat healthy, right-sized portions.
The lozenges consist of two components: a sweet, outer reward
layer anda cooling/tingling inner core. The outer layer provides a mea
sured dose of “dessert,” usually associated with the end of a meal. The inner core engages the trigeminal nerve, clears the palate, and lingers on
the tongue after the lozenge has dissolved. They target behavioral, sensory, and psychological aspects of feeling full and keeping that in check.
Each lozenge has two grams of sugar, 15 calories and is low fat, stimulant-free, gluten-free, kosher and contains no high fructose corn syrup or MSG.
Having tried all four flavors, I have to say they are all good! There isn’t one that is tastier than another. They have a flavored outer layer and then the inside is a cool, almost menthol like core that tingles. My experience is that these would be great to toss in your purse or pocket and take when you go out to dinner or to a dinner party. They would be able to help curb an impulse to order dessert, or take an extra helping, before your brain and tummy are able to catch up. My tummy tends to be a bit bigger than my eyes, especially when extra treats and favorite dishes are in front of me. Do I think one of these little guys would curb my appetite for hours? Probably not, but without a doubt they would help me during the 20 minute overeating zone.
